Lea Salonga's name has been added to the list of Filipino personalities with Madame Tussauds wax figures.
Madame Tussauds, in an event held at Solaire Resort, has recently unveiled the wax figure of the Filipina singer and actress. It will be displayed at Madame Tussauds starting September 20.
Lea's lifelike figure wears a blue gown designed by her fashion designer friend, Rajo Laurel, according to ABS-CBN News' post on Facebook.

During the unveiling, the Broadway diva was all smiles as she posed with the wax figure.
Ciara Sotto likewise took to social media to post a reel featuring the stunning figure.
"I am so happy to see Lea Salonga's first-ever wax figure! It's so lifelike, and I promise you I didn't know that Lea no. 2 will be wearing blue. You will see it in Madame Tussauds Singapore," Ciara wrote in the caption.
Lea Salonga is an award-winning international singer and actress. She became known around the world when she got the role of 'Kim' in the musical Miss Saigon for which she won a Tony Award. She is also the first Asian woman to get this award. Lea is also known for being the singing voice of several Disney Princess characters, Jasmine and Mulan.
Recently, Lea gave her take on the issue involving BINI Aiah. It can be recalled that the BINI member shared a lengthy statement on Instagram about setting boundaries. Some famous celebrities also expressed their take on Aiah's sentiments. One of them was Lea Salonga, who agreed with what Aiah said.
Dolly De Leon and Lea Salonga, in an interview posted by PhilStar News, admitted they have experienced being shouted at and called names in the theater. As for Lea, she said that when she worked at a theater in New York, she got a bit of culture shock as there was no shouting or name-calling there. Dolly said though that seeing young artists being shouted at and called names by big name directors or members of production crew somehow makes her cringe a bit.
