Gerald Santos, after the hearing of the Senate committee on public information and mass media on Tuesday, August 27, shared a fiery post on social media.

During the said hearing, Gerald finally revealed the name of the musical director who allegedly abused him when he was just 15.

On his Instagram page, @thegeraldsantos, Gerald wrote, “Ang luwag sa dibdib ko ngayon na aking pinangalanan na ang umabuso sa akin kanina sa Senado.”

“Unti unti ay nakakamit ko na ang hustisya at dadalin nanamin ito sa hukuman. Ang akin pong paglabas tungkol dito should not be a lost cause.. Ito sana ay magsilbing inspirasyon sa lahat ng mga biktima ng Sexuál Abuse na hindi ninyo kailangang matakot dahil now more than ever ay naaalis na ang stigma at pangmamata sa mga biktima ng ganitong karahasan.”

Gerald went on to pen a courageous message and warning addressed to people who abuse their power.

“At sa mga taong gumagawa ng hindi tama at inaabuso ang kanilang posisyon, bilang na ang mga araw ninyo.”

“This is a stern warning sa inyo na walang lihim ang hindi mabubunyag!” he frankly added.

Gerald emotionally spoke during the previous senate hearing investigating the cases of abuse in the entertainment industry. Santos claimed that he was abused by a former musical director of a television network. The alleged incident happened when the singer was only 15 years old. He said he opted to keep mum about it for 19 years because of fear.
