She then recalled the time when her father hit her brother with a thick wood because the latter couldn't answer a mathematical equation.

“One time, merong dos por dos, ‘cause he owns a construction company there.

Later, her brother ran away and returned to their mother in the Philippines, leaving the actress alone with their dad.

Nginudngod niya ako doon at one week niya akong hindi pinakain,” Angeli opened up.

“Since may farm kami do’n, every time na pinapakain ko ‘yung aso, pumipitas ako ng avocado, orange at apple,” she continued.

Angeli even recalled that she would, at times, attend school bruised and bleeding.

Ang lagi lang sa ‘kin sinasabi ni daddy to comfort me, ‘I want the best of you.’”

This situation lasted for three to five years until her classmate reported it to their teacher. The actress said they immediately flew to the Philippines when her father learned that the guidance counselor wanted to talk to him.

“Nung nakita nung mom ko kung gaano ako kalantay, walang buhay, and nung nalaman ng mom ko [‘yung physical abuse], finile-an niya agad ng case ‘yung dad ko,” she revealed.
