In a recent episode of "Updated With Nelson Canlas," actress Angeli Khang refuted rumors linking her to the breakup of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque, who were previously engaged.

Angeli dismissed the speculation as fake news, emphasizing that she and Dominic Roque do not know each other personally. She also expressed fear of public scrutiny and backlash due to the baseless accusations.

The actress even had to withdraw from public appearances for a week to avoid further scrutiny and negative attention.

“Fake news po, fake news siya.

"Tingin sa akin ng mga tao pag lumalabas ako na taray na taray talaga sa akin, parang ako talaga yung reason ng breakup nila. Gusto kong mag-explain sa kanila, wait hindi po, hindi po kami magkakilala.

"Every time po na lumalabas ako, nakikita ko 'yung mga tingin sa 'kin ng mga tao na parang hate na hate nila ako. Kaya nung time na 'yun hindi muna ako lumabas ng one week. Hindi muna ako nagpakita sa lahat,” Angeli shared.

Bea Alonzo is an actress, model, and former singer. She was born on October 17, 1987, in the Philippines to a British father and a Filipina mother. She shot to superstardom with her movies with John Lloyd Cruz. She used to be engaged to Dominic Roque but they parted ways before the wedding.
