Rica, wife of a Christian pastor, took to Threads and shared her honest thoughts on the controversial tableau.

“So I am not sure of how true that the Last Supper was actually the Feast of Dionysus. But to me it sounds more like it because hello: OLYMPICS. OLYMPIA, GREECE. Ancient Greece and Dionysus is…? Kaya pala no matter how much I look at it hindi naman Last Supper yung efek sakin.”

She also questioned why many Christians were enraged by the performance, making the Christian faith look unthinking and unreasonable.

“And here are the Christians being so outraged and honestly, this makes the Christian faith talaga look unthinking and unreasonable more than ever!”

She then advised, “If true talaga this, time na for the Christians to think talaga of how people can believe in us when we keep representing the faith as reactionary. Reacts before thinking. Enraged before understanding. Others then would automatically think the faith is for fools! And the saddest part is I cannot blame them.”
