Donny Pangilinan, tumulong sa typhoon Carina victims, sumali sa relief operations ng Angat Buhay

Donny Pangilinan has joined the list of stars who extended their helping hands to Filipinos affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Carina and the enhanced southwest monsoon, or Habagat.

The 26-year-old Kapamilya actor participated in Angat Buhay’s relief operations at Urban Chick in Maginhawa, Quezon City on Friday, July 26.

Along with other volunteers, Donny prepared and packed rice porridge, which will be distributed to affected families.

Angat Buhay then took to social media and shared photos from the relief operations.

“Maraming salamat sa pakikipagbayanihan, Donny!” the organization wrote in the caption. Angat Buhay is a non-government organization chaired by Atty. Leni Robredo.

Donny Pangilinan is one of Maricel Laxa and Anthony Pangilinan's five children. In addition to performing, the actor enjoys music and sports. He used to be a VJ for the MYX music channel in the Philippines. His current love team is promising actress Belle Mariano.

Kapamilya actress and singer Belle Mariano turned 22 years last June 10. On her special day, her on-screen partner Donny Pangilinan took to social media and dedicated an adorable post to the birthday girl. The actor shared a set of Belle's lovely photos, some of which show the two of them playfully posing for selfies. In the caption, Donny wished the actress a happy birthday and called himself her "opisyal putograper."

Earlier, Donny Pangilinan visited the set of "Lilet Matias: Attorney-At-Law" starring Jo Berry. It is worth noting that the actor's mom, Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, is among the main cast members of the Kapuso afternoon series. Jo then took to social media and shared a photo and a video from Donny's visit. As seen in the video, Jo could not help "fangirling" over Donny.
