Jessy Mendiola, in her latest online post, was stunned by the controversial and ongoing TikTok trend of visiting the late Rico Yan's grave.

On Tuesday, July 9, Jessy took to her Instagram account to react to the ongoing trend and even reposted @republicasia's article about it.

In her online post, Jessy asked the "social media addicts" if they have nothing better to do.

She then proceeded to lecture them, asking them to provide even a tad bit of respect to the late Rico, as well as to his immediate family.

According to Jessy, people seemed to have forgotten the word "respect" and lacked decency.

"Wala na ba magawang matino ang mga social media addicts? Konting respeto naman sa namayapa na at pati na rin sa pamilya ng yumaong. Susme. Lahat na lang ba para sa likes, followers, and views? Nakalimutan na yata ng mga tao ang salitang "respeto." Wala nang decency," she wrote.

Jessy Mendiola is an actress, product endorser, and model from the Philippines. She was one of the artists launched under Star Magic batch 15 by ABS-CBN. She starred in the lead role for the Filipino adaptation of the Mexican telenovela 'Maria Mercedes' which catapulted her into stardom. She is married to actor and television host, Luis Manzano, the son of showbiz legends Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. Luis and Jessy already have a child named Isabella Rose or Baby Peanut.

In the letter, Luis thanked his lovely and beautiful wife for taking good care of him and Rosie. The celebrity mom then responded and even teased her husband in the said online post.
