Jessy Mendiola, in her latest online post, has piqued the interest of netizens after explaining why she took a long break from show business.
According to Jessy, after 5 long years, she is finally back home with Star Magic and her ABS-CBN family, after signing a contract with them.

In her now-viral online post, Jessy revealed she took a break from show business to "heal and focus" on her family with Luis Manzano.
Jessy mentioned that she experienced a lot of highs and lows in showbiz, and that now, she is ready to explore and continue her journey.

"Finally, after 5 years… I’m back home. I still can’t believe it, I’m back with my Star Magic and ABSCBN family. I took a long break to heal and focus on my family. I’ve experienced many highs and lows in showbiz. Now, after a very long time… I can finally say that I’m ready to explore and continue my journey in this industry. Aaminin ko maraming hesitations and doubts, dahil alam kong bubuksan ko ulit yung buhay ko sa lahat. Marami mang iba’t ibang opinyon tungkol sakin, ayos lang dahil alam kong mas maraming nagmamahal sakin," she wrote.
By the end of her post, Jessy thanked a lot of people, including Luis, for being supportive.
"To my family, especially my husband @luckymanzano, thank you for being so supportive and for pushing me to chase my dreams again," she wrote.

Jessy Mendiola is an actress, product endorser, and model from the Philippines. She was one of the artists launched under Star Magic batch 15 by ABS-CBN. She starred in the lead role for the Filipino adaptation of the Mexican telenovela 'Maria Mercedes' which catapulted her into stardom. She is married to actor and television host, Luis Manzano, the son of showbiz legends Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. Luis and Jessy already have a child named Isabella Rose or Baby Peanut.

In her online post, Jessy revealed that her unica hija is sick, not disclosing what the sickness was. According to Jessy, the stress brought upon by her child's sickness is indeed different.
