Ogie Diaz, in his latest post on X, has finally addressed the comparisons that were being made about him and 'King of Talk' Boy Abunda.
Previously, Ogie was commended on social media for the interview he did with Kris Aquino and her son, Bimby, with the two praising him.
Immediately, the video of his interview with Kris went viral, earning over 3.5 million views on his YouTube channel alone, with netizens praising Ogie.
However, amidst the compliments, there were some who compared him to Boy, prompting Ogie to address the comparisons once and for all online.

At the beginning of his statement, Ogie thanked everyone for their compliments over his method of interviewing but asked them to refrain from comparing.
In his post, Ogie said he still has a lot to prove in terms of interviewing to be able to match Boy.
"Salamat po sa mga nakagusto ng paraan ko ng pag-interbyu. Pero wag niyo po ako ikumpara kay Kuya Boy Abunda. Marami pa po akong kakaining bigas para lang makapantay kay Kuya Boy. Pangarap ko ding maka-Ingles nang diretso, hahaha! Kaya dinadaan ko na lang sa pakikinig sa guest," he wrote.
Ogie Diaz is one of the most famous showbiz reporters in the Philippines. He is also an accomplished comedian and has appeared in several sitcoms and movies since the 1990s. At the moment, his YouTube channels, Ogie Diaz Inspires and Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update, are the most watched, where he actively provides news from the world of showbiz.
As previously reported by KAMI, Ogie Diaz recently imparted important advice on how to handle “stress.” The showbiz reporter and talent manager gave his advice through a social media post. He also included a smiling photo of himself in the said post, along with an inline caption on how to best handle stress.
Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz also addressed on Facebook some of the questions about his former talent, Liza Soberano. The talent manager clarified that they hadn't seen each other in two years but would greet her if they met accidentally. According to Ogie, he holds no grudge against Liza and only comments on correct narratives.
