Mark Leviste, in a statement given to The Star, confirmed that he and Kris have already broken up but they remained friends.

The vice governor of Batangas said that he is happy for Kris's newfound love, but admitted having felt sad at how their relationship ended.

He also gave an assurance that he would always be there for Kris and her family.

“As Kris said we’re still ‘friendly.’ Sa totoo lang, wala naman nagbago sa akin, at wala din naman akong sama ng loob at hihinakit sa kanya. As a matter of fact, I am in the States now, while Bimb is back home," he said in his message to the publication.

“I assured Kris, Bimb, Kris’s sisters, and their household help in Orange County that if there’s anything I can do for them, I’ll be there. If I am needed in any way, I will make myself available for them immediately,” he wrote.

Kris has recently announced in an interview with Ogie Diaz, a video of which was uploaded on YouTube, she already said that she has a new boyfriend.

As per GMA, her newfound love is a PH-based doctor.
