Donny Pangilinan’s recent post on Facebook showing a picture of him with content creator Cong TV has gone viral.

It can be recalled that the two celebrities’ respective teams, Donny’s Blue Team and Cong TV’s Anbilibabol team, went up against each other during Sunday’s basketball match at the Araneta Center as part of the ABS-CBN Star Magic All Star Games.

In the post of Donny, he wrote the caption “idol,” perhaps as an indication that he admires the works of Cong TV.

Before the game started, Cong TV humorously asked his teammates to get their acts together in the game because while they might lose in terms of good looks, at least they might be able to win the game.

“Gusto ko lang sabihin sa inyong dalawa, na sobrang pogi niyo sa personal,” the content creator told Donny and the latter’s teammate, Ronnie Alonte.

“Kaya nakikiusap ako sa mga kakampi ko. Utang na loob, galingan nyo! Gusto kong umalis tayo ng Araneta na panget lang, pero nanalo,” Cong TV said before the game started.

However, Donny’s Blue Team eventually won the game with the score of 88 points over Anbilibabol team’s 76 points.

Donny Pangilinan is one of Maricel Laxa and Anthony Pangilinan's five children. In addition to performing, the actor enjoys music and sports. He used to be a VJ for the MYX music channel in the Philippines. His current love team is promising actress Belle Mariano.

In a previous post, Donny's video showing him dancing to the tune of 'Pantropiko' also went viral. The said video was said to have been taken in one of their mall shows, with Belle Mariano and the rest of the cast of Can't Buy Me Love.

In another social media post, Donny raised the excitement of many of their fans. In his post, one can see Donny riding a motorcycle with his co-star in “Can’t Buy Me Love,” Belle Mariano riding at the back. The thing that really excited netizens, however, was the caption of Donny in his post where he asked Belle a question. The said question even made some celebrities like Ruffa Gutierrez to exclaim “OMG.”
