Darren Espanto, who just turned 23 on Friday, May 24, received a heartfelt birthday greeting from Cassy Legaspi.

On Darren's special day, Cassy took to Instagram Stories and shared a collage with photos showing some of their lovely moments together.

In the on-screen caption, the Kapuso celebrity penned a touching message to the birthday boy, whom she dubbed "D Total Package."

"Happy Happy Birthday DB!! 'D Total Package.'"

Cassy went on to write some thoughtful reminders to the Kapamilya singer-actor.

"I'll keep this short but sweet, but all I wanna say is stay kind & true to yourself always D (alam mo na yun....hehe) don't forget to pace yourself and take care of yourself."

She fondly added, "You already know that I'm always here for you and I always have been @darrenespanto."

Darren Espanto, born on May 24, 2001 as Darren Lyndon Gonzales Espanto, is a Filipino-Canadian singer and actor well-known for his cover songs such as "Dying Inside To Hold You", originally sung by Timmy Thomas. He first joined a competition at the age of ten, where he won the Masters Finals of the Pinoy Singing Sensation competition in Edmonton.

Darren has shut down the rumors that there is romance between him and Cassy Legaspi. In a report by ABS-CBN News, Darren clarified that he and Cassy are just best friends who care for each other. Currently, Darren does not think that their friendship could turn into romance.

Darren then reacted to Cassy’s IG story by lecturing those who make stories about him and the Kapuso actress.
