Ara Mina, a well-known Filipina actress, could not help but shed tears after seeing her daughter's work in school upon visiting them.

On Wednesday, May 22, Ara revealed she went to Mandy's school, where her teacher asked Ara if she wanted to see her daughter's work.

According to Ara, her daughter chose her as her inspiration and as the person she looks up to.

"Last April, when I visited sa school, the teacher approached me na baka gusto ko daw makita yung ginawa ni Amanda kasi napili yung ginawa nya sa Best Works for their Leap Activity na pumili ng taong inspiration nila or hinahangaan nila. Grabe! Na-teary eyed talaga ako. But deep inside I am crying for joy. Sobrang na-touch ako sa anak ko," she wrote.

In her post, Ara said her heart was filled with joy, especially since she was a single mom for years.

"Nakakataba lang ng puso kasi kahit working mom ako at naging single mom for ilang years hanggang nabuo ang family. I am trying my best na maging responsible and good mom sa kanya of course with my support system. Thank you sa mga Ninangs nya. Oh, my Mandy, your pride and appreciation mean the world to me. Thank you for being the light of my life. I love you always," she wrote.

Ara Mina is a Filipino actress, singer, entrepreneur, and endorser. She was born on May 9, 1979, to Francis Marie Klenk and Chuck Mathay in Marikina, Metro Manila. She is also the older sister of another talented Filipino actress, Cristine Reyes, with whom she is very close.
