Heart Evangelista, in a recent post on GMA News’ Instagram account, showed her full support to husband Sen. Chiz Escudero by going to the Philippine Senate and be present at the senator’s oathtaking ceremony.

It can be recalled that Sen. Chiz took over the helm of the legislative body after Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri stepped down as Senate President.

In a photo supplied by GMA News, one can see Sen. Chiz taking his oath of office as the newly-elected Senate President.

One can also see Heart standing beside him as he took his oath before Sen. Manuel Villar and the rest of their colleagues in the Philippine Senate.

Heart was wearing a formal attire during the ceremony and looked on with pride at her husband as he takes over as the new Senate President.

Heart Evangelista is a Filipina actress, singer, TV host, endorser, visual media artist, philanthropist, socialite, and the former first lady of Sorsogon province. She was born on February 14, 1985, to a Chinese-Filipino father, restaurant mogul Reynaldo Evangelista Ongpauco, and Bicolana Maria Cecilia del Gallego Payawal.

Recently, Heart showed she's one supportive stepmom to Chesi Escudero. Just recently, one of Heart's fanpages, @heartevangelista.portal, uploaded the video to their page. In the viral video, Heart was spotted accompanying Chesi at an event they both attended. Needless to say, the two seemed to have had a grand time together at the event.

In another post, Heart answered a basher who alleged that the style icon's beauty stemmed from the fact that she has no child of her own. In a sharp retort, Heart said she has lost four unborn children, and she can't help but feel annoyed at what the basher said. She also pointed out that the basher did not use his or her real account, which is why Heart was unable to properly answer the allegation. She then said that she's beautiful because she knows how to take care of herself.
