Bretman Rock clapped back at a Pinoy gym coach who insinuated that gays could not lift weights at the gym.

The coach was Edison Vargas, and he uploaded a video on TikTok, which showed him lifting weights.

His caption was saying that he is gay if he could not lift the weights.

"Bakla ako pag hindi ko nabuhat 'to."

In the comments, an obviously irked Bretman wrote.

“Lmfao, girl, at least put your elbows closer together.”

“All that for such a lightweight sis,” he said.

As of writing, Edison Vargas has already turned off the comments section of the video.

In response to the criticism he received, he released a statement, which stated that he did not intend to hurt anybody's feelings.

He also said that he only copied the caption from other TikTok creators.

Bretman Rock Sacayanan Laforga is a Filipino-American beauty influencer and social media personality hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii. He gained prominence as a content creator on YouTube and Vine when one of his contouring videos went viral in 2015. Rock is celebrated for his makeup tutorials and lighthearted take on life.

Bretman took to the comments section of a post on Instagram. A beauty influencer shared her adventures in the lovely Palawan. One netizen then commented that Vanessa Hudgens is "shaking." Bretman then replied to the statement and said that the girl could not even say Palawan.

Bretman also previously took to Instagram and expressed his unequivocal choice for president. He shared the closing statement of VP Leni during the Commission on Elections' debate. On Robredo, the popular social media influencer said that the statement of VP Leni shook him to the core. The influencer, who is now living in Hawaii has 18.2 million Instagram followers.
