TVJ debunks rumor that Eat Bulaga might get canceled due to low profit

Tito, Vic and, Joey, debunked rumors that their show "Eat Bulaga" was already going bankrupt.
During the show, Tito even joked about increasing the prize to P10K.
He added that there are liars who are saying that the show is going bankrupt.
"Pag uminit ang ulo ko, baka gawin nating 10K," Tito said.

"Bakit?" asked Allan K.
"Aba, may mga sinungaling na nagkakalat na nalulugi daw tayo!" he said.
"Na magsasara na daw tayo?! Ang sabi ng mga sinungaling!" Tito added.
Thereafter, Joey de Leon chimed in and enunciated two statements.
"Naiinggit lang mga 'yan kasi hindi sil akasali sa Top 5 longest-running TV shows in the world" he said.
"Eto na lang hamon ko, umabot lang kayo ng 15 years baka lumuhod ako sa harap nyo," he added.
Joey de Leon is an iconic actor, comedian, and television host in the Philippines. He is a member of the comedy trio Tito, Vic, and Joey and has made several comedy movies and TV shows. Joey is also best known for being a pioneer host of the longest-running noontime show in the country, “Eat Bulaga,” which premiered on July 30, 1979.
Recently, TVJ, in a post on their social media page, shared the news that the court has granted their complaint against TAPE and GMA as to the use of trademarks “EB” and “Eat Bulaga.” According to the post of the trio, after a court proceeding that lasted five months, TVJ emerged victorious in their complaint against TAPE and GMA-7.
GMA later released its official statement over the win of TVJ in the copyright and infringement case. The statement, posted on the official IG page of the network, wished to give the public some clarity over the decision of the Regional Trial Court (RTC). It said that the court did not find GMA guilty of copyright infringement or unfair competition. It also underscored that it will be complying with the directive of the Court with regards to airing "Eat Bulaga" episodes on its platforms.
