Darren Espanto, who was among the celebrities spotted at Kathryn Bernardo’s housewarming party, recently shared an entertaining video.

On Friday, April 12, the singer-actor took to Instagram Stories and posted the video where he could be seen dancing with Loisa Andalio, Chie Filomeno, Maymay Entrata, and Robi Domingo.

They danced to BINI’s trending song titled “Pantropiko” during the said event.

“Pantropiko fever,” Darren wrote in the on-screen caption.

The video then made the rounds on social media and got reposted by several fan pages. Kapamilya Online World was among those that reposted the dance video.

Darren Espanto, born on May 24, 2001 as Darren Lyndon Gonzales Espanto, is a Filipino-Canadian singer and actor well-known for his cover songs such as "Dying Inside To Hold You", originally sung by Timmy Thomas. He first joined a competition at the age of ten, where he won the Masters Finals of the Pinoy Singing Sensation competition in Edmonton.

Darren Espanto directly addressed the romance rumors between him and Cassy Legaspi. The singer clarified that he and Cassy are just close friends. Currently, Darren does not think that their friendship could turn into romance. "Best friends talaga. It's something a lot of people won't get. Hindi ko alam paano explain pero syempre andun yung pagmamahal namin sa isa't isa,” he explained.Furthermore, on "It’s Showtime," Darren told Vice Ganda that he does not have a girlfriend.

Previously, Darren and Cassy caused a buzz on social media the latter reposted the singer-actor’s cryptic post on X, formerly Twitter. On Instagram Stories, Cassy seemed to agree with her “bestie” Darren’s thoughts on people jumping to conclusions. Darren then reacted to Cassy’s IG story by lecturing those who make stories about him and the Kapuso actress.
