Actress and former beauty queen Kylie Versoza recently engaged in a candid discussion on talent manager and showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz's YouTube channel, where she shared her opinion on maintaining friendships with ex-boyfriends or ex-girlfriends.

When asked about the matter, Kylie expressed her belief that it's not appropriate to remain friends with an ex-partner, especially if the relationship lasted for many years.

She emphasized the importance of respecting both one's current partner and the new partner of the ex. While Kylie acknowledged the possibility of being civil and having no ill feelings towards an ex, she deemed maintaining a friendship with them as "weird." She explained that while being cordial is acceptable, maintaining a friendship may not be necessary, particularly in long and committed relationships where future plans are involved.

“You can be civil, pero ‘yung nakikipag-usap ka ng, ‘Hi, how are you? How are you?’ To me, medyo weird ‘yun.
“You can be civil. You don’t have any bad feelings towards each other, but I don’t think there should still be a friendship. Kasi bakit pa?”

“If it’s a quick relationship, sure, you can be friends. Why not? But if it’s a long [and] committed relationship, and about the future, then no,” Kylie explained.

Kylie Verzosa is a beauty queen and an actress. She is the former girlfriend of actor Jake Cuenca. Kylie became famous in 2016 after winning the 2016 Miss International beauty pageant. She has also starred in some TV series and movies.

In a previous article, Kylie became a hot topic on social media because of the photo post she made.
