The said place is the Kundirana Music Room, where Ogie would spend time honing his skills as singer and musician.

The singer-songwriter is part of the famed ‘Kundirana’, a high school music ministry from La Salle Green Hills, whose members were carefully picked after rigorous auditions.

According to Ogie, the Kundirana Music Room was where he learned the basics.

By basics, the singer-songwriter meant how to sing, perform, choreograph, and play instruments.

“Visited the Kundirana “Music Room” where I learned the basics of singing, performing, choir singing, choreography, and playing keys in the year 1984 and 85. #animo,” Ogie said in his caption.

The other popular singer-songwriter who was also a member of Kundirana was Gary Valenciano.

Ogie Alcasid is a singer and composer in the Philippines. He is married to Regine Velasquez. They have a son, Nate. The couple is considered one of the most respected power couples in the industry of showbiz in the Philippines.

In one of his recent online posts, Ogie made netizens laugh as he uploaded a relatable photo. On his Instagram page, Ogie showcased a selfie he took with his wife, Regine Velasquez. The said photo was taken during their workout together, genuinely amusing netizens. In his post, Ogie jokingly said, Regine is slowly getting back her energy to work out.

Meanwhile, he has previously warned netizens about a fake advertisement. On Instagram, the singer-songwriter shared a screenshot of a Facebook post containing the fake ad. The post falsely claimed that Ogie used a certain product to recover from osteoarthritis. As per Ogie, he has seen and reported such kind of posts several times “pero wala pa ring tigil yung iba.”
