Ogie Alcasid could not help but share a screenshot of a fake advertisement that used his photos and identity for a false claim.

As seen in the screenshot posted on his Instagram page, the ad claimed that the “It’s Showtime” host used a particular product to recover from osteoarthritis.

“Guys hindi po ako ito,” Ogie warned the netizens.

“I have seen several posts of these and some have been reported pero wala pa ring tigil yung iba. Nakakalungkot po.”

He went on to urge everyone, “Please do not follow and believe these people. Unless i personally post on my soc meds any products, all of that you see claiming that i have endorsed them is false.”

“The Lord Bless us all,” he added.

Ogie Alcasid is a singer and composer in the Philippines. He is married to Regine Velasquez. They have a son, Nate. The couple is considered one of the most respected power couples in the industry of showbiz in the Philippines.

Ogie and Regine's marriage is one of the strongest in PH showbiz. Ogie took to IG and sought the help of many to report a scammer using his name. He said that he was actually alerted by a number of friends about a post that was using his name. It was an ad for men, to help them with their couple woes. Ogie said that it was not him and that the post needed to be reported.

Earlier, Ogie also wrote a heartfelt birthday message for Regine. In his sweet message, Ogie mentioned his birthday wishes for his lovely wife. The singer-songwriter posted his message along with a reel showing his and Regine’s cozy moments. The Asia’s Song Bird turned 53 years old last April 22.
