Andrea Brillantes has taken to IG and reposted a card made by PAWS Project, which highlighted the lessons learned from the case of Killua, the dog who was beaten to death by a barangay tanod.

As per the post of PAWS, the case of Killua was an eye-opener.

It also stated that they had already filed a case against the one who killed the dog.

"Killua's case has been an eye-opener on the many issues of animal welfare and animal control in our country. Thanks to the cooperation of witnesses, PAWS has been able to file a criminal case for violation of the Animal Welfare Act and the Anti-Rabies Act against his killer."

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.” She was a member of The Gold Squad, along with her “Kadenang Ginto” co-stars Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin.
