South Korean-American actress and singer Nancy McDonie, who was a member of the K-Pop group Momoland before its disbandment, is now officially a GMA Kapuso star.
Aside from posting a photo of the international star, Sparkle GMA Artist Center announced on Instagram that Nancy has joined GMA Network’s talent agency. Sparkle got netizens excited as it promised to give exciting projects to the former K-Pop idol.
In the comments section, Filipino fans also welcomed Nancy and expressed their excitement for her future projects. Nancy has a lot of Pinoy fans as Momoland’s K-Pop songs Bboom Bboom and Baam were huge hits in the Philippines.

Nancy Jewel McDonie, born in 2000, is a Korean-American singer, actress, and host. She was a member of the South Korean girl group Momoland, which was formed in 2016 and was disbanded in 2023. After the disbandment, Nancy began to perform in live musical theater. In 2024, Nancy joined GMA’s talent agency Sparkle.
In a past report, Nancy McDonie was a part of a music video of James Reid, Jay B of GOT7, and Taiwanese-American rapper ØZI's collaborative single 'Hello 2.0 (Legends Only)'. Many netizens were surprised by the famous celebrities who got featured in it.
