Executives of ABS-CBN and GMA have formally inked a contract for the airing of “It’s Showtime” on GMA’s main channel from Monday to Saturday, 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. starting April 6.

Present during the contract signing event on Wednesday are its hosts Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Karylle, Ogie Alcasid, Ryan Bang, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ion Perez, Amy Perez, MC, Lassy, Darren Espanto, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez.

Before the ceremony, the noontime show’s hosts received a warm welcome at GMA Network Center.

ABS-CBN News posted on its social media pages a video showing the hosts being greeted by GMA employees as they arrived at the building.

“Mainit na sinalubong ang It’s Showtime hosts sa opisina ng GMA,” the caption reads.

"It's Showtime" is a Filipino noontime show comprised of well-known celebrities in the Philippines, namely, Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, Karylle and many more.

Just yesterday, “It’s Showtime” social media pages shared a teaser that caught the attention of many. It shows an art card containing the program’s “I-T-S” trademark along with a heart graphic. It also has a caption that reads, “Good news, Madlang People! ABANGAN!” The post then made numerous netizens, especially the noontime show’s fans, excited.

Last year, GMA and ABS-CBN executives formalized their deal on airing "It's Showtime" on GTV. The noontime show's hosts were also present at the contract signing event held on June 28. The said hosts include Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu and Ogie Alcasid, among others. A video showing the hosts being warmly welcomed at the event then made the rounds on social media.
