Paolo Contis, hindi pa handang magsalita ukol sa pagtatapos ng "Tahanang Pinakamasaya"

- Paolo Contis is not yet ready to talk about losing his job as a host of "Tahanang Pinakamasaya"

- Ogie Diaz tried to seek a comment from Paolo but he refused to give one

- Ogie, in his "Ogie Diaz Showbiz UPdate," said that he reached out to Paolo but the latter asked for him not to talk to him yet

- The manager also revealed that Paolo stated that he wanted to be alone

Ogie Diaz revealed that Paolo Contis is not yet ready to talk about the end of "Tahanang Pinakamasaya" or about him, losing his job as one of the hosts of the show.

“I asked Paolo Contis since malapit naman tayo sa batang ‘yan, hiningi niya na huwag ko muna siyang kausapin,” said Ogie in "Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update."
“Gusto raw muna niyang mapag-isa.. ‘mare, pass muna ko’ papahinga lang ako…’ sino ba naman tayo para kulitin ‘yong bata, ‘di ba?” he added.

Previously, TAPE issued a statement with regards the final airing of their show on GMA-7.

“It is with a heavy heart that we inform our televiewers that our noontime show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ on Kapuso network, GMA-7, will no longer be on air effective March 8, 2024.”

It also thanked the Kapuso network and highlighted that the two parties have mutually decided to end airing the show.

“TAPE, Inc. extends its profound gratitude to its home network, GMA-7, for a long and fruitful partnership. GMA 7’s kind consideration and understanding of the company’s unwanted circumstances have been instrumental in helping the company in this transition. Despite our best efforts to save the show, both parties have reached a mutual agreement to finally call off the show.”

Television and Production Exponents Inc., also known as TAPE Inc., is television production company in the Philippines established on July 7, 1981. It is known as the former producer of the longest-running noontime variety show "Eat Bulaga."

Earlier, "Tahanang Pinakamasaya" host Chariz Solomon recently shared a heartfelt post about the noontime show. On her Instagram page, Chariz shared a carousel of photos showing the program’s hosts and the people behind the camera. In the comments section of her post, it is noticeable that the Kapuso star replied to a netizen who asked whether it’s true that the show aired its last episode last Saturday.

Chariz's post also received an unsolicited remark from a basher. “Tahanang pinasara,” the basher’s comment reads. Chariz later wrote a calm reply to the noontime show’s detractor.
