Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma' Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.

Jaclyn died at the age of 60. Her impact on the entertainment industry has left an aching pain in many netizens' hearts, who have come to love the actress. Many of them recalled two of the iconic roles of the actress, particularly in "Mula sa Puso" where she played "Magda," the mother of Claudine Barretto.
