Lauren Young is among the celebrities who took to social media to react to Jaclyn Jose’s sudden demise.

Jaclyn’s name made headlines due to news that she had already passed away at 60 last Saturday, March 2.

On Instagram Stories, Lauren penned a heartfelt tribute to the late Cannes-winning actress.

“I’m very lucky to have worked with Tita Jane so early on in my career. From Mundo Mo’y Akin to the remake of Marimar.”

She further shared, “The set was always so fun because of her vibrant soul and dedication to her craft.”

Likewise, Lauren wished Jaclyn’s soul an eternal rest and extended her earnest condolences to the bereaved family.

“Rest in Peace, Tita Jane and my deepest sympathies to her family,” Lauren wrote.

Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma' Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.

Andi Eigenmann, 33, has finally addressed her mother's untimely passing. On Monday, March 4, Andi and Gabby Eigenmann faced the media to provide an official statement. In the video, Andi could be seen in tears, with her voice shaking as she confirmed her mother's passing. According to Andi, Jaclyn passed away due to a myocardial infarction, or a heart attack.
