Maine Mendoza, who will mark her 29th birthday tomorrow, received an advanced birthday greeting from Joey de Leon.

The veteran comedian took to his Instagram page and shared a lovely photo of him with Maine. In the snapshot, the two could be seen pleasantly posing for the camera.

In the caption, Joey wrote a short but sweet message to his “Eat Bulaga” co-host.

He wished Maine a happy birthday and expressed delight at having her in the EB family.

Maine rose to prominence after her Dubsmash videos went viral, which helped her land a role as Yaya Dub in the country’s longest-running noontime show, "Eat Bulaga." She eventually landed roles in various movies and TV series, with one of them helping her win Best Supporting Actress during the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival. The actress is now married to actor-politician Arjo Atayde.

Maine cannot contain her happiness after watching the concert of Coldplay. In a social media post, Maine thanked the popular band who made thousands of Filipinos who watched them live enjoy to the max. The world-famous band, known for its hit songs “Yellow,” “The Scientist,” “Fix You,” and many more, held its concert at the 55,000–capacity Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
