The actor made the revelation in a one-on-one interview with MJ Felipe for the digital series “On Cue.”

During the interview, MJ asked the actor if he felt “naninibago” now that he’s solo and the projects he would be doing forward are all about him.

“Naninibago ka ba ngayon now that the projects you'll be doing forward is all about you na? Solo ka na,” MJ asked.

Daniel then said that for him, it’s just different and indicated that he’s not in any way “naninibago” at all.

“I think the term is not naninibago, it's just new. It's different. Konting adjustments,” Daniel answered.
“Siyempre lahat naman ng bagay may adjustments you know so pero yung gagawin kong pelikula is yung mga makabuluhan eh, basta't andun na muna ako,” the actor added.

MJ then asked in what sense the movies he would be making from now on are “makabuluhan.”

“In what sense na makabuluhan?” the ABS-CBN reporter asked.
“I just want yung mga movies na talagang sapul eh, na meron sapul sa puso. It doesn't mean about love. Parang I made too much movies about love. Let's make something naman different,” Daniel concluded.
