Jolo Revilla opens up on wife’s high-risk pregnancy, health scare after giving birth

Cavite 1st District Representative Jolo Revilla and his wife, Angelica Alita-Revilla, welcomed their first child, an adorable baby girl named Lauren Angela, on January 30.

On Instagram, Jolo shared details about his wife’s high-risk pregnancy due to an abnormality in her placenta called circumvallate placenta.

Despite the pregnancy complications, Angelica was able to deliver her baby normally. However, after giving birth, Angelica almost lost her life due to excessive blood loss, which required blood transfusions to treat.

Matapos ang siyam na buwang pagdadalang tao ng aking maybahay na si Angel Revilla, isang munting anghel na ibinigay na biyaya sa amin at isinilang niya ang aming baby girl, Lauren Angela Revilla. Talagang anghel para sa amin ang aming anak, hulog ng langit sa amin kaya naman pag-iingatan at mamahalin naming mabuti ang biyayang pinagkaloob sa amin. Masayang masaya kami gayundin ang aming buong pamilya.
