Liza Soberano’s first Hollywood movie, “Lisa Frankenstein,” is arriving soon! A few days before the film’s release, Liza received praise from American producer and director Joe Russo.

According to the filmmaker, the movie’s director Zelda Williams and screenwriter Diablo Cody found a superstar in Liza.

He also commended the Filipino-American actress’s performance in the upcoming movie.

“Movies like LISA FRANKENSTEIN can be great vehicles to break new stars, and @zeldawilliams and Diablo Cody found a superstar in Liza Soberano, who steals every scene she’s in as Lisa’s stepsister, Taffy,” his post on X, formerly Twitter, reads.

Along with the remarks, Joe also shared a screenshot from one of Liza’s scenes in the horror-comedy film.

“Lisa Frankenstein,” starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse, will finally hit Philippine cinemas on February 7.

Liza Soberano is a Fil-Am actress, singer, endorser, and model. She has starred in various TV series and movies, which include 'Forevermore,' 'Dolce Amore,' and 'Bagani,' among others. The actress left her home talent center, ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, to pursue a career in Hollywood.

In a previous report, Liza’s first Hollywood movie “Lisa Frankenstein” starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse has a new teaser. The film’s social media pages dropped the 24-second teaser last January 20, Philippine time. The teaser shows some scenes of Kathryn as Lisa and the Filipino-American actress as Taffy. Netizens then flocked to the comments section to express excitement over the film’s release.
