Ruffa Gutierrez, in one of her latest online posts on social media, showed her full support for her sister-in-law, Alexa Gutierrez, as she battles leukemia.

On January 23, Tuesday, Ruffa took to Instagram to repost Alexa's post about finally chopping all of her hairlocks after seeing them fall in chunks.

According to Alexa, she was getting emotional seeing all her hair fall in chunks, which is why she decided it was time for a new look this year.

"I was getting emotional seeing all my hair fall in chunks. I was getting mad and wanted to change my emotions quickly. We went for it and decided time for the new look. I feel much happier that we did it. Still a bit messy on top since it was spur of the moment thing. Most importantly, @life.of.guti and I love the look. Always wanted to try this look but never had the guts," she wrote.

Following this news, Ruffa reposted Alexa's post and penned a short but sweet note for her sister-in-law amid her fight with leukemia.

"You are a warrior! Your strength and bravery inspires me and everyone around you. We love you, Lex!" she wrote.

Sharmaine Ruffa Rama Gutierrez, more popularly known as Ruffa Gutierrez, is a beauty queen, actress, and model from the Philippines. She is the daughter of celebrities Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama. She was the second runner-up in Miss World 1993 pageant. She has two children, Lorin Gabriella, and Venezia Loran, with her former husband, Yilmaz Bektas.

It can be recalled that the actress has been asking for prayers for her sister-in-law who’s suffering from a type of blood disease.
