Ogie Diaz, in the latest "Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update," expressed his opinion with regard to Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings in CBML.

The manager said that he understands why more scenes were added to them, and it is simply because they were doing so well and viewers loved them.

This opinion came after a basher insulted Maris and accused her of riding on the popularity of DonBelle.

"Naiintindihan ko bakit nanganganak yung eksena nung Maris at Anthony Jennings. Kasi click sila. Kasi hinusayan nila. So bilang gantimpala nanganganak yung mga eksena..."

He also emphasized how good Maris was.

"Ang husay lalo ni Maris Racal. Ang galing nung dynamics nila. Challenge yan sa mga bida."

Mariestella "Maris" Cañedo Racal, or Maris Racal, is a Filipina actress, singer-songwriter, host, vlogger, and endorser. She became prominent in 2014 after joining "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" where she placed second. She is now in a relationship with Rico Blanco, the singer, and they have also been sharing their photos and videos of their sweet moments on social media.

Early this month, Maris reacted to the accusation of a basher against her. The basher was alleging that the actress was making "arte" and that she feels "bida." The basher also said that Maris was merely riding on the popularity of DonBelle. Maris then responded, expressing her shock and said that she was merely being thankful, and even said sorry.

Before the year 2023 ended, she wrote a post thanking the year 2023, which she said provided lots of opportunities for her. She said she was able to portray four roles during the entire year.
