Marian Rivera, in an interview by Ogie Diaz for his vlog, imparted an important and meaningful advice to parents like her.
The actress said that parents should never be afraid to say sorry to their kids in case they realize they were wrong.
The Kapuso actress said that when a parent apologizes to his or her child, it doesn’t mean the kid is already superior to them.
“Huwag kayo matakot mag-sorry sa mga anak niyo,” Marian said.

“Hindi ibig sabihin na kapag nag-sorry kayo ay nakalamang na iyung anak niyo,” she added.
Marian said that when parents realize they were wrong, they should immediately admit it.
The actress said that this way, it would make it easy for the child to also say sorry in case he or she committed an infraction.
“Dapat tayong mga magulang, kung alam nating tayo ang mali, mismong tayo iyung mag-admit,” she said.
“Para iyung bata kapag may kasalanan siya, hindi siya mahihiya or hindi siya mag-aalangan na mag-sorry sa iyo,” Marian concluded.
