Saab Magalona's husband, Jim Bacarro, reassured the fans and followers of his wife that the latter is finally recovering and is now stable.

Earlier, the actress made headlines when she revealed in an online post that she had to be rushed to the hospital after vomiting and fainting.

Following this news, Jim took to his Instagram page to give a health update on Saab, saying the latter is now "recovering and stable."

"We were warmly welcomed by the kindest medical team at the Asia Pacific Medical Center in Aklan. Although the hospital was only two weeks old, the team was incredibly efficient, kind, and compassionate. With the help of Grace and Nep, we managed an emergency airlift back to Manila. Even after our arrival, the bleeding continued, so yesterday, our trusted surgeon, Dr. Jay Hippolito, performed a two-hour open surgery on Saab. She is now recovering and stable," he wrote.

Saab Magalona is a Filipina actress, singer, and blogger. Her parents are late hip-hop icon Francis Magalona and Pia Magalona. The social media star is married to Jim Bacarro. They have two children – Pancho and Vito. Saab's eldest, Pancho, has cerebral palsy. The celebrity mom's journey with his child has inspired a lot of parents, especially those with children who have disabilities. Saab is also the sister of actors Maxene and Elmo Magalona.

On Sunday, July 16, Saab posted photos she took at the airport, moments before they canceled their trip. According to Saab, they were about to go on a "romantic getaway" when one text from home prompted them to go back immediately.

Meanwhile, Saab Magalona took to Instagram and shared cute family photos. She defined the photos as their "family weekend adventures." The actress also thanked her husband for capturing the lovely moments. In one photo, Pia Magalona, her mom, was with them, enjoying her grandchildren.
