Saab Magalona and her husband, Jim Baccaro, have earned praise from netizens on social media after canceling their flight for their son, Vito.

On Sunday, July 16, Saab took to Instagram and penned a lengthy post about how she and Jim had to cancel the flight after finding out that Vito was sick.

According to Saab, she and Jim had a "romantic getaway" planned to watch their favorite band in a foreign country.

"Love is planning a quick romantic getaway to watch your favorite band in a foreign country. Love is checking in your bags, being in line at immigration, just to cancel the whole thing because of a text from home," she began.

In her post, Saab revealed that Vito came down with a fever and rash, which is why she and Jim rushed back home.

"Love is returning to your kid with a fever and rash, nursing him back to health and thanking your stars that you weren’t on the plane yet," she wrote.

By the end of her post, Saab admitted the whole ordeal made her fall in love deeper with her husband.

"We’ll have our romantic getaway another time. Still, I’ve fallen deeper in love with my husband because of this," she wrote.

Saab Magalona is a Filipina actress, singer, and blogger. Her parents are late hip-hop icon Francis Magalona and Pia Magalona. The social media star is married to Jim Baccaro. They have two children – Pancho and Vito. Saab's eldest, Pancho, has cerebral palsy. The celebrity mom's journey with his child has inspired a lot of parents, especially those with children who have disabilities. Saab is also the sister of actors Maxene and Elmo Magalona.

The little boy now knows how to make his own steps and is very proud of his accomplishment. The mom was very happy, and she also narrated the struggles that her son went through before.

Meanwhile, Saab recently shared a picture showing some beauty products on her Twitter account. Based on her post, someone sent her the said photo and informed her that they saw her picture printed on the box of a whitening product. The source also stated that the said products are being sold in Cambodia.
