Lee Sun Kyun, who is best known for his role in the Oscar-winning film Parasite, has passed away at the age of 48 years old.
On Wednesday, December 27, BBC News reported that Lee's body was found unconscious at a park in Central Seoul, Waryong Park.
Aside from his body, charcoal briquettes were also found inside the car, placed on the passenger seat, as reported by Korea Times.

Meanwhile, in the report done by CBS News, Yonhap News Agency revealed Lee to have left home after writing a memo earlier on Wednesday.
The late actor, who was married to and had two sons with actress Jeon Hye-jin, had been in the industry for over two decades.
One of his notable roles was that of Park Dong Ik in the Oscar-winning film, Parasite, which was directed by Bong Joon Ho.
The film then garnered over four awards at the Oscars in 2020, including Best Picture which became the first non-English film to win the prize.
