Boots Anson-Rodrigo, ibinahagi napansin kay Ronaldo Valdez sa pinakahuling film: "He was sad"

Boots Anson-Rodrigo, a good friend and co-actor of Ronaldo Valdez in the movie, "Ikaw at Ako," revealed to Inquirer that she noticed a difference in the behavior of the late actor.

She said that he was already suffering from physical pain considering that he had a hard time walking.

The veteran actress also said that the actor needed a cane in order for him to move around.

More than that though, Boots said that there was a noticeable difference in Ronaldo's behavior, noting that his eyes were sad.

"On the set, I noticed that he already had a hard time walking. He used a cane and needed assistance to move around. More than the physical pain, I noticed that he was sad. Yes, he would still joke around, but there was a notable difference [in his behavior],” Rodrigo said. “Once, when we were rehearsing, he told me, ‘Mare, masakit dito,’ while pointing to his heart. Whatever he was going through emotionally had a big impact on him. I felt too shy to ask him about it."

‘I noticed ang laki nang pinanghina ng katawan niya. Very sprightly 'yan eh, nagda-drive pa siya, nag-e-exercise di ba. Pero ito parang ang hina ng katawan niya, dapat akayin mo, nakabaston, kulang na lang mag-walker pero hindi naman pero very slow moving," she said in ABS-CBN's report.
