Cherry Pie Picache answered queries about her personal life, at the sidelines of the MMFF entry.

She was asked by the media about her heart and she responded readily.

The actress said that at her age, she could not depend her happiness on someone else, Philstar reported.

"Hindi ba sa edad kong ito ngayon, I cannot depend my happiness anymore on somebody else, hindi ba? Besides dapat din ay buo ako or whatever or kumpleto ako kung magmamahal ako — ulit," she said.

She added that, as for her and Edu, they remain very good friends and that they will always be loving each other, reported PUSH.

"We are very good friends, he is a very good person. We are very good friends. We will always love each other, so 'yon. ....I think we are okay naman. I think we will always love each other and 'yun nga we are friends, we are good friends" she said, as per ABS-CBN.

Cherry Pie Picache is a veteran actress known for her great dramatic skills. Some of her most famous projects include Hiram na Mukha, Pangarap na Bituin, and Iisa Pa Lamang. She is currently the girlfriend of Edu Manzano.

The veteran actress said that if a movie is directed by Darryl Yap, she would not want to take part in it and then asked if the director still has a conscience. Addressing the statement, Darryl asked which among those in his movies were lies. He then included the deceased mother of the actress by saying, "Yung pumatay sa nanay mo, nayakap mo."
