In an emotional interview on GMA's 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' Sharon Cuneta opened up about her relationship with her daughter, KC Concepcion, shedding light on her perceived shortcomings as a mother.

While promoting her latest MMFF movie, "Family of Two," Sharon expressed regret, stating, "Kay KC, nagkulang ako malamang sa oras" — acknowledging a possible deficiency in time spent together. However, Sharon shared that she had no shortcomings when it came to giving love and advice to KC.

Despite past conflicts with KC, Sharon emphasized the enduring strength of the maternal bond, remarking, “Kahit anong hidwaan, ang nanay, minsan nga ‘yung anak na may kasalanan, ikaw pa magpapakumbaba. Kahit galit na galit ka, pero pag niyakap ka ng anak mo, wala na, nakalimutan mo na, nothing matters.”

Reflecting on the broken family dynamic with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion and KC, Sharon lamented the losses suffered by all parties involved. "We lost so much, 'yung kaming tatlo, Gabby, me and KC. And we could’ve not lost so much. That family should’ve remained a family. I did not imagine that that family would break up."

Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, she tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan.

Shawie then said, "This is why I sometimes wish I had never married either Gabby or Kiko because of four innocent souls."
