Saab Magalona, isinugod sa ospital kamakailan lang: "I woke up to Jim screaming for help"

Saab Magalona has worried her fans on social media after she was recently rushed to the hospital during her trip to Boracay this year.

"On the morning of our flight to Boracay (4 days ago), I was palpitating and was as white as a ghost," Saab recalled in her viral post.

According to Saab, upon their arrival at the hotel, she had to use a wheelchair. She eventually took a nap but woke up, vomited, and passed out.

"I had to use a wheelchair after using the stairs at the hotel. I took a long nap and when I woke up, I used the toilet, vomited, and passed out. I woke up to Jim screaming for help outside the hotel door with me in his arms, my soiled pants and vomit all over my shirt," she recounted.

Apparently, the actress-celebrity mom triggered a "rare congenital condition" called Meckel's Diverticulum, which causes internal bleeding.

"What happened is that something (I suspect stress) triggered a rare congenital condition I have called Meckel’s Diverticulum. It causes internal bleeding," she said before reassuring her fans, "My hemoglobin is back to normal, vital signs have been stable for days, just waiting for clearance so we can get back to Manila and undergo surgery."

Saab Magalona is a Filipina actress, singer, and blogger. Her parents are late hip-hop icon Francis Magalona and Pia Magalona. The social media star is married to Jim Bacarro. They have two children – Pancho and Vito. Saab's eldest, Pancho, has cerebral palsy. As previously reported by KAMI, Saab Magalona and her husband are indeed selfless parents in the actress's latest post. On Sunday, July 16, Saab posted photos she took at the airport, moments before they canceled their trip. According to Saab, they were about to go on a "romantic getaway" when one text from home prompted them to go back immediately.

Meanwhile, Saab Magalona took to Instagram and shared cute family photos. She defined the photos as their "family weekend adventures." The actress also thanked her husband for capturing the lovely moments. In one photo, Pia Magalona, her mom, was with them, enjoying her grandchildren.
