Ina Raymundo paid tribute to Ronaldo Valdez following the news about the latter’s passing.

Ronaldo passed away yesterday, December 17 at the age of 76.

On Instagram Stories, Ina shared a clip showing her warmly hugging the multi-awarded veteran actor from behind.

In the on-screen caption, the actress penned nothing but nice words about the late celebrity.

She went on to pen her short but heartfelt message to her deceased ‘2 Good 2 Be True’ co-star.

Ronald James Dulaca Gibbs, or Ronaldo Valdez as he was known by his screen name, was a veteran actor in both movies and television. He was notably recognized as the father of Janno Gibbs, who is an actor, comedian, TV host, and singer.

Kathryn Bernardo’s open letter to Ronaldo Valdez posted in 2022 resurfaced on social media following the news about the latter’s demise. The actress published the lengthy letter on her Instagram page after their series ‘2 Good 2 Be True’ concluded in November of the said year. In the heartfelt letter, Kath expressed how grateful she was for the chance to work with Ronaldo. She also recalled how nervous she was on their first day on set and narrated that later on, she and Ronaldo clicked. “You are the lolo I never had,” she added.
