It can be recalled that yesterday, November 30, Kathryn Bernardo sent shockwaves, not only through the showbiz industry but also to their massive fanbase with an announcement that many have been dreading to hear and hoping to be not true.

In her Instagram account, Kathryn confirmed her breakup with reel and real-life boyfriend, Daniel Padilla, saying that the chapter is now closed, expressing hope her confirmation helps everyone move forward.

“Chapter closed. I hope this finally helps all of us move forward. I won’t be entertaining questions regarding this anymore. Thank you for understanding ,” Kathryn said in her post.

In her own post, barely a day after Kathryn’s confirmation of her breakup with Daniel, former Senator De Lima said she had not met the ex-couple in person yet and that they had photos only with her standee.

It can be recalled that Kathryn and Daniel, better known as KathNiel, campaigned for former Senator and Justice Secretary De Lima during the 2022 presidential elections.

In her post, Senatore De Lima thanked the ex-couple for the inspiration and prayed for their “continued growth and healing.”

“Hindi ko pa man sila personal na nakita, at sa standee ko pa lang sila nakasama, maraming salamat #KathNiel sa inspirasyon,” the former senator wrote in her post on ‘X’.
“I pray for your continued growth and healing. Patuloy namin kayong susuportahan. God bless you, your fans and family,” De Lima concluded in her post.

When finally the Motion for Bail of former Sen. De Lima was granted, showbiz reporter and talent manager Ogie Diaz was among those who gave a reaction online. The comedian and manager said that there are many "echoserong frog na politician." He also highlighted that the abovementioned politicians are saying that they are happy with what happened to De Lima. He then said that at the time that De Lima was detained, there should have been an effort coming from "you."

Another celebrity who also expressed his opinion on the grant of bail of former Sen. Leila De Lima was Jake Ejercito. On the social media platform 'X', the actor posted a single-word, "Freedom" and added the emoji for "five." Earlier, on Nov. 13, the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court granted her petition for bail. De Lima spent almost seven years in detention.
