Christian Bables, a Filipino actor, has stirred buzz on social media after recounting his experience after meeting a kid on the street.

On Thursday, November 23, Christian penned a lengthy post about his experience and how he helped the kid who asked for a trick or treat.

According to Christian, he was on the way home when he craved donuts. While waiting for his order, a child knocked on his window.

"While I was waiting for my order, kinatok ng batang nasa picture yung bintana. So nag-prepare ako ng barya para ibigay sa kanya, pero natuwa ako pag bukas ko ng bintana kasi imbis na manghingi siya ng pera, ang una kong narinig sa kanya “trick or treats po.” It made me smile in an instant," Christian recalled.

Eventually, when his food arrived, Christian gave it to the kid instead, including some money. However, much to his surprise, the kid returned it.

"When the munchkins arrived, inabot ko na sa kanya yung lahat ng nabili ko and kaunting money. Hindi niya tinanggap yung pera, and binalik sakin yung isang bag ng munchkins. Sabi niya, ok na daw yung mga donuts. Maglilinis na lang daw siya ng sasakyan para may pera siya at akin na lang daw yung isang bag ng munchkins kasi kailangan ko daw kumain PARA HINDI DAW AKO MAMATAY," he wrote.

In his post, Christian admitted he laughed at first but then realized what the child's concept of survival was, which made netizens emotional.

"Sobrang lakas ng tawa ko! Pero after a while I realized, ito yung konsepto niya ng survival. Para “hindi siya mamatay”. Ang maghanap ng kakainin sa bawat araw at ang mag trabaho ng marangal (imbis na mag aral) para magka pera at maka kain at para 'hindi siya mamatay,'" he recounted.

During the interview, Christian was asked about his close friendship with Jennica Garcia. In the video, the news anchor asked, "Best friend lang talaga?" to which Christian answered, "Best friend." The actor also revealed that he and Jennica didn't want to ruin the close nature of their friendship.
