Comedian-singer Jograd Dela Torre passed away on Nov. 15, 2023, his sister, Arlene McCullough has confirmed on her Facebook page.

According to the Daily Tribune, the comedian was hospitalized for three days due to a lingering illness but eventually succumbed.

In July, Jograd was interviewed by entertainment writer Morly Alinio, and it was in the interview that he revealed that he has been struggling with liver disease.
"Minsan nga, parang sumusuko na ako dahil inom ako nang inom ng gamot, pero mas masarap mabuhay e kaya gusto ko gumaling," said Jograd to Morly.
A number of his friends also expressed their sadness on social media over his passing.

Jograd Dela Torre was a singer, comedian and actor. Many are familiar with him due to his stint as the co-host of "Superstar," a musical variety show, where the main hosts were Nora Aunor and "Kuya Germs" German Moreno. Aside from being a singer, he also made his own compositions, with a number of them being socially-relevant.
