Ogie Diaz, in the latest episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Updates,” said that he noticed in a video that surfaced online of an Omega after-party event attended by celebrities including Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo that the couple appeared to be seated separately.

“Sa isang video naman, ay tila magkahiwalay ang kanilang upuan na bihirang mangyari sa mga okasyon tulad ng naunang Omega event last September or two months ago na ginanap sa Switzerland at kung makikita na magkatabi sina KathNiel sa mga pictures,” Ogie said.

Earlier, Ogie said that fans were looking for DJ after seeing that Kathryn arrived alone during the shoot for the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID.

The showbiz reporter then explained that Daniel attended the Omega Trophy Philippines Golf Tournament in Cabuyao, Laguna.

“Hinahanap naman ng mga fans si Daniel Padilla nung Sunday dahil nga mag-isang nakitang dumating itong si Kathryn,” the showbiz reporter said.

“At eto na nga sa mga naghahanap kay DJ po nung Sunday, umatend ito sa Omega Trophy Philippines Golf Tournament sa Sta. Elena Golf Club and Country Estate sa Cabuyao, Laguna,” Ogie added.

He then revealed the wish of some fans that on the second day of the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID shoot, they would see the couple together again and sweet to each other.

“Anyway, sa second day ng Christmas Station ID, ang hiling ng mga fans na makitang magkatabi, magka-akbay, at sweet na sweet na ulit sa isa't isa ang kanilang masaksihan sa kanilang iniidolong KathNiel,” Ogie said.

Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He became a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.

In the same episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” he also expressed his opinion on the recent long post of Xian Lim about how people should be more circumspect about the news they hear. According to Ogie, celebrities with real-life relationships should at least give their fans an assurance that the news about them isn’t true. He also said that such celebrities “owe it to their fans” to at least explain their real status. The showbiz reporter and talent manager also said that there are only three words that Xian needed to say in order to assure their fans.

Previously, he released a statement about his controversial report about an alleged rumor about Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, and Andrea Brillantes. It can be recalled that Ogie was subjected to bashing and was even accused of being a fake news peddler because of that report. He clarified, however, that he was not the source of the rumor, and like most, he also hoped the rumors were not true.
