Recently, Vice was the subject of a rumor about being summoned by the MTRCB for her commercial. Before the rumor got bigger, however, The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) issued a statement denied summoning of a celebrity who appeared in a fast-food chain television commercial. The MTRCB statement did not name names but netizens assumed that the celebrity in question was Vice Ganda, who appeared in a McDonald's commercial. According to the rumor, the MTRCB supposedly summoned Vice for the way he ate his piece of fried chicken in the commercial. The MTRCB firmly asserts that these claims are entirely baseless and misleading.
