Candy Pangilinan, who is mourning the death of Joey Paras, published a heart-rending post.
In an Instagram post, Candy shared a lovely photo of her with the late comedian-director.
In the caption, the celebrity mom wrote a heartfelt message to her deceased friend.
"Sumabay ka talaga sa eleksyon at humabol sa undas."

She went on and penned, "Paki hello ako kay Direk Wenn, kay Phi, kay choco, st marami pang iba."
"Rest in peace my friend. My prayers are with you. You fought well," she told Joey.
"To all my friends, i love you all," Candy added.
Joey Paras is a Filipino actor, director, singer, writer, producer and host. He became known for his lead role in the movie “Last Supper Number 3.” Joey also starred in the movie “Bekikang: Ang Nanay Kong Beki,” which also starred Tom Rodriguez.
Joey Paras – a comedian, actor, director, and writer – has passed away at 45, his family announced. According to his niece Zciara Shyne Sinchon-Fabian's Facebook post, Joey died on Sunday, October 29 at 5:40 pm. In the heartbreaking announcement, Zciara Shyne underscored that her Tito Joey’s heart “wasn’t able to recover anymore.” She also appealed for financial assistance for them to settle Joey’s hospital bills. Furthermore, the late comedian’s niece said funeral arrangements will be announced soon.
In 2020, KAMI reported that Joey had a severe heart condition that was requiring a heart surgery called angioplasty. He was confined at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig and he needed P750,000 for the said operation. The comedian was even trying to sell his house and lot to raise funds for the expensive surgery. In another social media post, Joey expressed his gratitude that he tested negative for COVID-19.
