While the game show has only been aired for less than two weeks, it has gained instant popularity and soared high in the ratings.

“It’s Your Lucky Day” became the temporary substitute of ABS-CBN for “It’s Showtime” after the latter was slapped with a 12-day suspension by the Movies and Television Review and Classifications Board (MTRCB).

The suspension stemmed from the “icing incident” that transpired between “It’s Showtime” hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez, which the government regulatory body classified as an “indecent act.”

ABS-CBN tried to seek a Motion for Reconsideration for the suspension against the popular noontime show but the plea was turned down by the MTRCB.

In the end, the Kapamilya Network decided to drop the appeal and replaced the popular noontime show with the game show “It’s Your Lucky Day.”

Jessy Mendiola once again showed support for Luis Manzano’s show, “It’s Your Lucky Day.” In a social media post, Luis wrote about the last two days of the noontime show. His wife then reacted to the post, expressing her desire for the show to continue its airing but in a different time slot. The actress also thanked her husband for bringing joy to the program’s viewers dubbed “ka-Lucky.”

Vice Ganda penned a heartfelt post regarding "It's Showtime." The Kapamilya noontime show marked its 14th anniversary on October 24. On X, formerly Twitter, Vice Ganda wrote a message for his It's Showtime family and the Madlang People. The comedian also stressed that the program is worth fighting for.
