Paolo Rivero, the father of Ricci Rivero, took to IG and made a cryptic post, without necessarily naming anyone.

In his post, where he shared a photo of his son, with his current girlfriend, beauty queen Leren Mae Bautista, he mentioned that what is important is the attitude and respect towards the person that one loves.

He also added that it must not be with the intention of showing off just so people would talk about it.

"Yun naman ang hindi tutuo . Plus, importante yung maayos na ugali at pag respeto sa mina mahal mo at hindi lang pakitang tao para mapag usapan," he said.

He then added, "Yun naman ang sobrang layo at yan ang sigurado ako."

Born May 25, 1998, Ricci Paolo Uy Rivero, or Ricci Rivero, is a Filipino basketball player who is also an endorser for numerous brands and companies. Recently, Ricci signed a two-year rookie deal with Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He used to be in a relationship with Kapamilya actress, Andrea Brillantes, but the two called it quits, with Ricci confirming their break-up on June 2023.

The basketball player then debunked the claims that the politician and beauty queen was the reason behind the much-talked-about breakup. Ricci also told Tito Boy that he and Leren have no romantic relationship.

Ricci and Leren recently came under the spotlight after an alleged photo of them at a shopping mall was shared by a netizen. In the photo, Ricci and Leren were spotted wearing face masks, with the basketball star even wearing shades and a cap. A side-by-side photo of Leren for comparison with the said picture was even dropped online as well.
