AJ Raval at iba pang Vivamax artists, sinampahan ng kasong criminal ng KSMBPI: “Obscene publication”

AJ Raval and several other artists of Vivamax may face legal obstacles in the coming days after the group Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, Inc. or KSMBPI, filed criminal complaints against them.

Apart from AJ, the group also filed similar complaints against Ayanna Misola and Azi Acosta.

According to a PhilStar report, the group cited the alleged “obscene publication” of the actresses, KSMBPI said the artists violated particular provisions of the Revised Penal Code and the Cybercrime Law.

A report by the Inquirer quoted KSMBPI as stating that their legal action is part of their advocacy against alleged “moral decay and anarchy in show business", which they said is “entwined to social media."

AJ Raval is an actress, social media star, and YouTube vlogger in the Philippines. She is the daughter of veteran actor and action star Jeric Raval. The actress has appeared in several movies produced by Viva Films. The actress received plenty of bashing and negative comments from netizens earlier due to her relationship with Aljur Abrenica.
